Corner Hotel

One of the best and most popular pubs in the area, Richmond's Corner Hotel has hosted so many of Australia's best bands, and indeed a huge number of international acts. Aside from the rockin' band room, the front bar provides a chilled out local pub atmosphere for a variety of punters - the after work drinks crowd, footy lovers, alternative music people, old locals being bar flies and the young and funky. The best thing is, there are no pretentious posers! The beer flows freely, there's plenty of places to cosy up on a couch, eat a meal (and damn those meals are good!), play pool or sit at the bar perusing the street press. During the summer, the rooftop beer garden is not to be missed. A Richmond landmark that exudes a comfortable, friendly atmosphere.
