Venue type: Bar
Review: Michael Edmonds
Another one of those bars that can be deceptively quiet when viewed from the street, but sure enough bustling like crazy down the back - during the weekends, of course. In fact the feel was dim and a little more relaxed that many of the other St Kilda bars - and that's including the bar staff. Tunes with some dancing, but generally with enough room to move and not as smothering as some of the other bars/clubs around the Fitzroy Street strip.
Readers' Reviews
The experience was great; Rebar has come a long way from the old days, now boasting stylish furnishings which have a bit of fame from the series My Restaurant Rules! It also boasts a being a great party venue with a large space to cater for those larger groups or just for a drink with friends on a Fri Sat night. It's also great for a quiet game of pool or just to chill out away from the other pubs and clubs. Its 80s retro night on Fridays is a good change from the other doof doof!
